In this article a comprehensive list of Microsoft Word Keyboard Shortcuts will be elaborated. Majority of these shortcuts generally applies to all the versions of Microsoft Word. But some of the shortcuts may not work on all the versions of MS Word.

Ctrl + 0 This shortcut toggles the 6pts of spacing before a paragraph.
Ctrl + 1 It is used for single-line spacing
Ctrl + 2 It is used for double-line spacing
Ctrl + 5 It is used for 1.5-line spacing
Ctrl + Alt + 1 It changes the selected text to heading 1
Ctrl + Alt + 2 It changes the selected text to heading 2
Ctrl + Alt + 3 It changes the selected text to heading 3
F1 It Opens the Help
F4 It repeats the last action performed
F5 It opens the Find and Replace window in Microsoft Word
F7 Spellings and grammar checking for selected item
F12 Opens the Save as option to save the file in desired format
Ctrl + F1 Opens the Task Pane
Ctrl + F2 Shows print preview of the document
Ctrl + A Select all, selects the whole content of the document
Ctrl + B It makes the selected text bold
Ctrl + C Copies the selected text
Ctrl + D It opens the font window where various settings and options are available for font
Ctrl + E Center-Aligns the selected text
Ctrl + F It opens the find box for searching the document

Ctrl + S It saves the document. If the document is new, location and name is selected for document, and if the document already exists then it simply saves the changes if made any.
Ctrl + T It is used for hanging indent
Ctrl + U It makes the selected text underlined
Ctrl + V Paste the content that has been already copied or cut
Ctrl + W It closes the currently opened active window
Ctrl + X It cuts the selected text
Ctrl + Y Redo the last action performed

Shift + F3 Toggles the case of the text, uppercase, lowercase, and first letter capital of every word
Shift + F12 Save the document (Similar with Ctrl + S)

Shift + Alt + T Insert the current time in the document
